About the Artist:
Elijah Morris, a native of Newtown, Connecticut, is very grateful to serve as Organ Scholar at St. John’s in the coming year. He is a student at Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut, where he will be entering his sophomore year majoring in Music and Humanities, focusing on organ with Professor Christopher Houlihan. He also serves as the Assistant Chapel Organist at the College’s chapel and sings as a bass in the Chapel Singers. His greatest love for the instrument is its ability to minister to people, specifically in the context of worship and liturgy. When not practicing the organ, he enjoys reading, mountain biking, hiking, thrifting, and working on cars.
